Remodelling Projects

The clients wanted a large and airy kitchen/dining area and family room. The design incorporates a glazed gable and roof lights, to let in as much natural light as possible. A vaulted ceiling created a large high open space. The wide sliding, folding doors (replaced French doors) allowed the room to be opened up to the patio. The house had no windows to the rear at attic level. The new dormers gave wonderful views over open countryside, more light and space.

This bungalow had been extended and altered several times, it needed remodelling internally to suit a modern lifestyle. Better use was made of the rear first floor windows to take advantage of the wonderful views. A run-down garden room was too cold to use in winter and too hot in summer. A larger room with a central atrium to bring in a lot of natural light, but not look like a conservatory was constructed.
